Sexual harassment is something that has gained lots of attention in recent years. With the #MeToo movement and the accessibility of social media, we are given a platform to voice our opinions and spread awareness on the matter quite easily. We do, however, tend to overlook the discreet ways that films try to idealize harassment and pass it off as something romantic.
When we were told we couldn’t be leaders because it was what boys did better anyway, we didn’t let it slide. We got angry.

As a young child, I had never doubted the women in my life loved their partners, children or even responsibilities. Not to say that my father and uncles did not love, it’s just it was more apparent to me that when a woman does something, there will always be that element of selflessness and affection. That is when I begin to wonder if love was exclusively, if not inherently, feminine.
