Back to shine a light on the silly, the taboo and the hilarious is LOL Fest, Kuala Lumpur’s most insane comedy festival, taking place this year from the 14th of September to the 27th of October at Jenerator in KL City Walk.
Don’t tell the people from my boarding school and my younger self, but I prefer living in the city than the countryside. I still deeply appreciate coastal shores and tall trees and blue skies that seem to go on forever, but the city with its bustle and people and bright lights win me over. I’ve called places like Kepong and Gombak home so you can see that two-storey houses and mamak spots by the corner is my idea of home.

But before we continue, we must say this year’s bronze trophies crafted by Chelsea School of Arts’ alumnus Lana Locke is one piece of artwork we’d like to own.
WE’VE had a number of genres of music festival throughout the year but it’s rare to find a music festival that caters to Soul, Hip Hop and RnB all in one. Well music lovers, come October 17th you’re going to get your fix of those musical genres. We’re so excited we can’t contain it!!!
