How can you not love a superhero in a red super-suit with a dark and sassy sense of humour played by the ever-so-sexy Ryan Reynolds? We know we definitely do!
We’re going to gostan a little bit to a post we did earlier this month, specifically our Top 10 Upcoming Hollywood Films of 2016 list. We mentioned that 2016 is probably going to be a Marvel-lous year, but why, again?
Only because Marvel will be releasing eight films, namely Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Captain America: Civil War, Suicide Squad, Doctor Strange, X-Men: Apocalypse, Gambit, Sinister Six and — we saved the best for last — Deadpool.
The first of eight Marvel films to be released, expect the film in cinemas February next year!
Deadpool revolves around a superhero named Deadpool who has accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. Former mercenary Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds) goes in search of the man who nearly destroyed his life.
After the release of the film’s first trailer, there has been constant teasing in the form of promo videos and posters. Even Reynolds, who plays the superhero, decided to join in the fun with his Deadpool tweets, on top of detailing how Deadpool spent his Halloween and organising his very own Deadpool-themed Christmas.
And talking about Christmas, 20th Century Fox and Marvel gifted Deadpool fans two new trailers on Christmas Day itself — one nice, one naughty — showcasing more of everyone’s soon-to-be favorite foul-mouthed, witty superhero.
But before those two trailers were out, there was also another clip released on Christmas Eve, which you can watch online right here.
Make sure to check out the naughty and nice trailer, but beware: it may just be NSFW.
Deadpool hits cinemas on 12 February 2016.
