Freedom Festival Malaysia: Soaring Upwards at Bandar Malaysia

by Aina IzzahOctober 22, 2018

Freedom Festival will be held on 3rd November (Saturday) at Bandar Malaysia, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur starting from 10 a.m. until midnight and will be a day of providing a platform for musical performances, a variety selection for food lovers and engaging activities for the visitors coming from all over.

The venue that is unique was chosen as it radiates its own attraction for the goers since it is the first airport that was built in Malaysia and it also houses the oldest airplane in the nation, Rajawali. The festival is held in partnership with BSYNCLIVE, in which the representatives, Adam Sofian and Shamil Yusof stated that the event is to gather the people of all backgrounds to come together and enjoy the scene, “We always believe that Malaysians have the freedom to celebrate togetherness no matter what form it will take. Through Freedom Festival, we hope that the visitors who came are able to enjoy the activities and events prepared whether it’s music, food, the shops and exhibitions.”

Several known names that will be performing at the festival are Hujan, Kugiran Masdo, Datuk Zainal Abidin, Bittersweet, and Yuna and aside from these musical acts, Adam added that the day will also include, art displays such as graffiti and a showcase involving airplanes.

For one day only, Freedom Festival can be considered as the party that is family-friendly, an expo for the youths and a function to further push Malaysian talents and local produce into the public eye. It is not merely an event of self-aware and individualistic patriotism but a jamboree to rally the people who appreciate the freedom to get-together.
