by Daisy SunshineMay 16, 2018

After a 10 year-long hiatus, Dr. MK Pak DHum(h.c) – formerly known as Eddie Pak– will be making a comeback to the Malaysian Film Industry!

Dr. MK will be returning to the director’s chair in the local film scene also commemorates his endeavour of establishing Winner Dynasty Films & Entertainment Sdn Bhd, which was launched on the 30th of April, 2018! Dr. MK, a renowned award-winning film director and producer with 30 years of experience in the film & TV industry, found his calling in the film-making business from a very young age.

By the time he was 21, he started his film career in Hong Kong in 1981 and quickly rose to prominence in the Malaysian film industry with long-running hit TV series “Kisah Benar” and feature films like “Operasi Cegah Jenayah“, “Red-Haired Tumbler in Malaya“,  “Litar Kasih” and “Syukur 21.” His final stint shortly before he decided to take a break from the local film industry was his venture in “Dimensi Cinta” in 2008, where he became the first in Malaysia then to film using the state-of-the-art red camera technology. However, adverse and unforeseen circumstances surrounded the production of “Dimensi Cinta” which made it difficult for the completed product to be released. The disappointing turn of events led to Dr. MK’s transitory break from the local film Industry.

The good news!

In tandem with his return to the scene, Winner Dynasty Films & Entertainment Sdn Bhd will be producing three new movies in Malaysia by emerging local directors! Among the films in the making are:

  1. Duality – (English & Malay movie)
  2. The Dead Zone – (Malay movie)
  3. Over My Dead Body – (Chinese Movie)
