Contest: Win An Exclusive ‘Halfworlds’ Poster And Stick-On ‘Demit’ Tattoos!

by The Daily SeniSeptember 30, 2015

So HBO Asia‘s Halfworlds will be premiering at the end of November, and we have some super-exclusive stuff up for grabs.

Want an official A1-sized Halfworlds poster a full month before anyone else has access? Want some temporary stick-on tattoos to go along with the entire thing and make yourself aligned with one of the many Demits in the show? We have five sets of these goodies to hand out next month!

This is more or less how the poster looks like.

All you have to do is submit to us some local-cinema inspired fan art! We’re going to keep the definition of fan art pretty loose here; yes we are expecting visual art in the form of handmade drawings and/or digital illustrations but you could surprise us with something out of the blue.

So if you’re not in the mood to sketch Maya Karin throwing an axe at Cristina Suzanne‘s spine (in tribute to that one scene in Jwanita) feel free to send over photographs of disturbing things you’ve created at home using whatever that’s lying around.

Just for legal sake, here are the official rules to this competition:

1. Submit any form of fan art related to Malaysian cinema to The Daily Seni via our email (),  and accounts. Alternatively, mail it over to 16B, Jalan SS20/10, Damansara Kim, 47400 Petaling Jaya.

2. Multiple submissions are permitted, but all submissions must reach us in digital or physical format by Saturday, 10 October 2015.

3. The five winning submissions will be picked by our own list of jury (to be revealed after the contest ends a la Festival Filem Malaysia), and the winners will be announced on Monday, 12 October 2015.

4. Contest is open to residents of Malaysia only!

As much as our editorial team is dying to keep these items, we hope to see your artwork soon!
