Alcoholic Art: Illustrator Kyle Bice Has Found Yet Another Use For Beer!

by Tharany M.June 30, 2015

Watercolor is so old school.

And instead of chilling with a beer while you paint, why not use that beer to paint?

Kyle Bice is a freelance artist specializing in illustration and fine art based in Chicago. Kyle was inspired to pursue art thanks to an early love for comics. He works in a broad range of styles and is an expert in a variety of mediums, giving him the ability to address the needs of almost any project out there.

He is the lead artist for The Monster Weekly, a blog that promotes childhood literacy.

He is also the author and illustrator of A Book of Dwarves, self-published via a Kickstarter campaign in 2012.

Recently, Kyle has done a series of labels for New Holland Brewing too. But what’s most fascinating about this man is his series of paintings done using beer.

That’s right folks, this man here has found more uses for beer, proving that it is indeed the best thing humans have ever created prior to the internet.

Check out all of Kyle’s works here.

Thanks for the press. Some of the info is a little wrong though. The labels created for New Holland were painted with watercolor. The Beer paintings are another things on their own.
    Cheers!
