Local actor and humourist Yussry Edoo, better known as Yus Jambu,passed away at around 12:15am today from a heart attack. The 39-year old comedian was rushed to Hospital Selayang after his performance at Dataran Merdeka, and spent his final moments in the vehicle.
He had just finished participating in Raja Band. According to mStar, he was spotted looking “pale” and reserved on set during the concert. He is also claimed to have a history of asthma and heart ailments.
Yussry was buried at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung Nesam in Bintong, Perlis in the afternoon.
Born on the 15th March 1976, the comedian started off in this career by participating in Sinaran Pasport Kegemilangan, a talent show on Tv3 back in 2001. He was also the champion of the first season of Raja Lawak, the hit comedic talent search reality show which led him to stardom.
